But if not, then definitely read it. There is good news for you. The Government of India has taken some big decisions in your interest in the past. It’s about your holidays. Sarkari Naukri Holidays for women have been extended. For this some rules have been changed and some new rules have been added.
The complete list of new holidays is given below. Union Minister Jitendra Singh has given information about this on Tuesday. He said that the central government has made concerted efforts to increase the representation of women in their jobs. An attempt has been made to give them work life balance in professional and family life. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is implementing them.
Holiday for women in Sarkari Job
Here it is being told about those special holidays for which new rules have been made. There is no mention of the already running holidays (such as 6 months maternity leave, etc.).
- Special Maternity Leave: Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said that the government has decided to give special maternity leave of 60 days to those central women employees whose child dies after birth or miscarries. This step has been taken in view of the possible mental stress caused to them.
- Child Care Leave: Singh said that along with continuation of 730 days CCL Leave for child rearing, some new steps have also been taken. These include permission for concessional travel to women workers during Child Care Leave. Employees can also go on foreign tour with prior permission of proper authority.
- Leave in case of sexual harassment: If the investigation of the case of Sexual Harassment is going on, then a provision has been made for special leave during this period. The victim government female employee can take leave up to 90 days. This leave will be granted during the pendency of the inquiry and will not be deducted from other leave.
Apart from this, the Union Minister told that from July 1 last year, a special allowance of Rs 3000 per month is being given to disabled women workers for the care of children.
