External teachers will be posted at the centers
The Uttar Pradesh government has also issued a statement regarding the UP Board Exam 2023 on Saturday. According to the released statement, 50 percent of the invigilators at the examination centers will be from outside. On the other hand, the teacher of the subject for which the exam is being conducted will not be put on duty. According to Divyakant Shukla, Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, there will be two invigilators in each examination hall while there will be three invigilators in halls with more than 40 students.
Male inspector will not search girl students
It has also been said in the guidelines that no girl student will be searched by a male inspector. Women invigilators will be posted at the centers where girl students will appear for the exam. It has been said in the statement that no teacher will be appointed at any particular examination center on his request for vested interest.
Candidates cannot carry electronic gadgets
The invigilators will also have to ensure the confidentiality and security of the question papers. No candidate is allowed to enter the examination center with any copying material, mobile phone, calculator or any such electronic device. According to the issued guidelines, the invigilators will inspect the examination hall and ensure that there is no textual material, posters, charts, written instructions on the blackboard, which can be beneficial for the examinees.
