Also active in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand
According to the CID team, the gang of Haryana’s touts are active not only in Haryana but also in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. There also, these brokers are giving recognition to schools in a fake way. In Haryana’s Kaithal itself, several FIRs have been registered so far in connection with the fake recognition of 38 private schools. The CID team is soon going to register similar FIRs in other districts as well.
Apprehension of collusion with departmental officers
According to the CID team, such a huge rigging is not possible without the connivance of the officers and employees of the School Education Department. In such a situation, there is a possibility that soon during the trial, the CID may also reveal the names of these officers and employees. It is believed that they have cooperation in getting the director’s fake NOC and CBSE affiliation.
12 to 15 lakh rate
In the investigation of CID, it has been found that the brokers have fixed a rate of Rs 15 lakh for CBSE recognition to any school without resources. However, there is also scope for bargaining in this. Many schools have also been given recognition for just Rs 12 lakh. Three gangs are executing this game in the state. So far, cases have been registered against these touts in Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Palwal districts.
