Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) at different exam centers GATE Exam 2023 is going to organize. Candidates who have registered for GATE 2023 will be able to take part in the exam. As per the schedule of GATE exam, the exam will be conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The admit card for the GATE exam was issued on January 9 itself. Candidates who have not yet downloaded the admit card can download it by visiting the official website gate.iitk.ac.in.
Name, Roll Number, Date of Birth, Hall Ticket Number, Address, Shift Timing, Exam Date and Guidelines are mentioned in the GATE Exam Admit Card. Candidates are told to read the guidelines once before appearing for the exam. The GATE exam will be conducted in two shifts, in which the morning shift exam will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. At the same time, in the second shift, the exam will start at 2.30 pm, which will run till 5.30 pm.
Candidates are told that they will have to carry admit card, valid ID proof and water bottle to the exam hall. Students will not be given entry in the exam hall without admit card and ID proof. In such a situation, they should take only these two things.
Guidelines for GATE 2023 Exam
- Students are not allowed to bring electronic devices like digital watch, bluetooth device, laptop, mobile phone during the exam. If this happens, their exam can be cancelled.
- Pen, pencil box or pouch are not allowed in the exam hall.
- Students have to reach the exam center 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Students go to the exam hall with photo ID card and admit card.
- Students after entering the exam hall will not be allowed to go out till the end of the exam.
- It is not allowed to bring any kind of paper in the exam hall.
Students are advised to go through the syllabus thoroughly to prepare for the GATE exam. Revise each and every topic. Apart from this, previous year question papers can also be solved for better preparation of the exam.
