Board Exam 2021: The speed of Corona Virus is once again appearing in its aggressive form. Night curfew in some states, then there is a situation of lockdown. In such a situation, all educational institutions including schools and colleges are also being closed. At the same time, the effect of corona has started to appear on the board examinations (Board Exam 2021). Some states have also changed the exam dates due to this.

In India, 1.15 lakh coronas have been found infected in the past. At the same time, there are a total of 8,43,473 active cases across the country. This figure is steadily increasing. While the night curfew has been announced in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the capital of the country, there are rumors of lockdown in many states including Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, some state governments are considering postponing the board examinations (Board Exam 2021).

Tamil Nadu will not have 10th examination

The Tamil Nadu government has decided to pass the students of class 9th, 10th and 11th without exams. Only 12th class board examinations will be held in the state. Let us know that the board exams of class 12th will be held in Tamil Nadu between May 3 and May 21, 2021.

Things worsened in Maharashtra

Maharashtra has become the biggest hotspot of Corona. In such a situation, there is a danger on board examinations in the state. The Maharashtra Education Department is considering postponing the examinations in view of the continuous practice of Corona virus cases across the state. However, no comments have been made so far by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) or any officials of the Department of Education, but such a decision can be taken in view of the worsening situation.

Changed board exam dates in Punjab

Keeping in mind the increasing cases of Corona virus, the Punjab government has decided to close schools and colleges by 15 April 2021. The same time table of board examination has also been changed. According to the new board sheet, the board exams of class 10th in Punjab will be conducted from May 4 to May 24 and class exams for class 12th will be held from April 20 to May 24, 2021.

Examinations can be postponed in Karnataka

The Karnataka government is considering starting the next academic session in schools from July 15. At present, schools have been closed in the state for primary level i.e. classes 1 to 5 whereas schools are normally open for students from class 6 to 12. In such a situation, the state government can also take a big decision regarding board exams.

Exams will be offline in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that the 10th and 12th class examinations will be in offline mode. In fact, students and parents had expressed concern over the conduct of the board’s tenth and twelfth examinations offline due to the increasing cases of coronaviruses. Now the board has made it clear that matriculation and intermediate examinations will be conducted in offline mode.
