This year 16 lakh 54 thousand 171 students had given this exam. These include 8 lakh 24 thousand 893 girls and 8 lakh 29 thousand 278 boys. In the year 2017, 17 lakh 23 thousand 911 students passed the Bihar Board Class 10th examination. These include 8 lakh 75 thousand 362 boys and 8 lakh 48 thousand 548 girls. The total pass percentage was 50.12 per cent.

4 lakh students passed from first division
This time, 4,13,087 students have passed with First Division in Bihar Board Class 10th examination. These include 2,47,496 students and 1,65,591 students. 5,00,615 students passed from the Second Division. These include 2,58,713 boys and 2,41,902 girls. Apart from this, 3,78,980 students have passed from the Third Division, out of which 1,70,132 are boys and 2,08,848 are girls.
