What is Dantak Project?
Project Dantak is one of the oldest projects of BRO. This project was started on April 24, 1961. Actually, this project is the contribution of the third king of Bhutan and the then Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. Excellent roads have been constructed under the project.
In the last few years, 5000 meters long bridges have been built under the project. Apart from this, 1600 km blacktop route and 120 km long track have also been prepared under it. Under this project, for the first time, basic things like medical and education could reach remote areas.
