There are two big news related to education in Uttar Pradesh. First- regarding the formation of Education Commission in UP and second- regarding NCRT syllabus in Madrasas of UP. It is reported that the UP government is soon going to set up an education commission in the state. in this regard Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to hold an important meeting on Tuesday.
According to the report, the Principal Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Higher Education and other high level officials will participate in this meeting. In the meeting, there will be discussion on changing the format from basic education to secondary and higher education in the state. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), discussions will be held on making new changes in the education system of UP. The discussion of Education Commission in UP started from the same time when the Center approved the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
Every school will get two tablets
Sources in the education department say that the government is focusing on technology-based education. With the help of latest technology, the education system of the state is in the process of being made smart. There is a plan to teach children in smart classes from primary classes. For this, two tablets will be given to each school. Attendance in schools will be taken with face reading technique. There will be 77 books on the QR Code.
News of UP Madarsa Syllabus
Some time ago, the government had decided that education will be done from NCERT syllabus in madrassas of Uttar Pradesh, so that they can provide modern education along with religious education. Now the Chairman of UP Madarsa Education Council, Iftikar Ahmad Javed has told that the UP Madarsa Board has started preparations for this.
NCERT syllabus will be implemented in UP Madarsa from the new academic session itself. That is, even in madrassas, children will be able to study subjects like maths, science, computers. The chairman has told that the new syllabus of UP Madarsa will be released on March 1, 2023. Only then (in March itself) pre-primary classes like LKG, UKG will also start.
