BHU UG PG Admission 2023: Every year lakhs of applications come for admission in Banaras Hindu University. However, not everyone is familiar with the admission process in this prestigious university. All the necessary information regarding BHU admission is given here. Admission in Banaras Hindu University from last year Common University Entrance Test QET happens through.
One needs to appear in CUET UG exam for admission to UG courses in BHU and CUET PG exam for admission to post graduation courses. The registration process for both the exams is already over. CUET UG exam has started from 21st May. Whereas, the CUET PG exam will run from June 5 to June 12, 2023.

When will be admission in BHU?
The admission process in BHU will be completed after the release of the result of CUET exam. After the declaration of result, the process of counseling will be completed. BHU said that the candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by NTA. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CUET.
No information has been given by NTA regarding the dates of CUET result. However, according to the tentative plan released by NTA, the result may be released in July 2023. Please tell that the new session in BHU can start in the month of August.
BHU CUET UG Previous Year Cut-off
Last year, the cut-off marks for BA Hons Arts for general category candidates was 340. Similarly, the cut-off for BA Hons Social Sciences was 352, BSc Hons Maths cut-off 391.42 and BA Shastri cut-off 165.6. For more details, visit the official website- bhuonline.in and see the notification.
It is important to note that some courses in BHU like B.Tech, Medical and MBBS require separate entrance exams. For admission in IIT BHU, it is necessary to pass the JEE Advanced exam. While medical programs like MBBS and BDS demand to qualify in NEET exam.
