West Bengal There is good news for the teacher job seekers. State Education Minister Bratya Basu said that the examination for the appointment of primary teachers would be conducted in the second week of December after Durga Puja. The primary education board had earlier informed that the TET or primary teacher recruitment exam would be conducted in December, but after talking to the education minister, board chairman Gautam Pal said the exam date would be announced. Meanwhile, Judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay of Kolkata High Court has ordered jobs for 252 underprivileged candidates.

Examination will be held for the appointment of primary teachers in the second week of December
The meeting of the ad-hoc committee of the Board of Primary Education was held last Friday. Chairman Gautam Pal was also present. There it was decided that the TET exam would be conducted again in December. The recruitment process for TET 2017 candidates has already started. According to sources, State Education Minister Bratya Basu is going to hold a meeting with the top leadership of Trinamool on Monday afternoon. According to sources, a big announcement is likely to be made this afternoon regarding SSC and primary recruitment. Recently, Gautam Pal has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Primary Education. After taking the new responsibility, he said that from now on every year examination will be conducted for the appointment of primary teachers.
High Court ordered for the appointment of 252 candidates
On the other hand, while hearing the matter of appointment of primary teachers in the Calcutta High Court, Justice Abhijit Ganguly ordered 252 eligible applicants to be given jobs. Candidates will get job out of 3929 vacancies. The appointment has been ordered by 7 November. The court said that their age will be determined on the basis of the date of advertisement. At that time there were 15,284 candidates in the examination and the advertisement was issued on 23 December 2020, but it is alleged that there was rigging in the appointment of primary teachers and candidates who got less marks were given jobs. In this regard, the CBI and ED have fallen on many officials from the Primary Education Board. Along with this, the court has ordered 56 more people to be given jobs before worship.
