In the midst of growing Corona cases, the Lucknow administration has directed the closure of educational institutions. Earlier, the state government closed schools for students of classes 1 to 8 till April 11. In view of the ever increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection in the capital Lucknow, it has been decided to impose a nightly curfew in the municipal area of the district.
District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash told here on Wednesday that in view of increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection, the district administration has decided to impose curfew in Lucknow Municipal Corporation area from 9 am to 6 am from 8 to 16 April. He told that the night curfew will be applicable only in Lucknow Municipal Corporation area. Not in rural areas.
In Kanpur, District Magistrate Alok Tiwari has announced to impose curfew from 10 am to 6 am. Lucknow District Magistrate said that work will continue with the Kovid-19 protocol from 6 am to 9 pm. There will be exemption to bring and carry essential items. During this time, supply of fruits, vegetables, milk, LPG, petrol – diesel and medicine will continue.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed on better Kovid management to prevent the spread of Corona and said that all the resources are available in the state to control the infection of Kovid-19 and to treat this epidemic.
“We have extensive experience in successfully dealing with Kovid-19,” he said, instructing him to continue the war against Kovid-19 effectively with better coordination of resources and experience.
