Indian Railways runs Garuda and Trishul train (symbolic photo)
The government is constantly making efforts to take the freight transport carried by the Railways to a different level. In this episode, the South Central Railway Division of Indian Railways successfully operated two long-distance freight trains. The South Central Railway has named these goods trains as Garuda and Trishul. Explain that both these trains can carry 3 times more goods at the same time than a normal freight train. This will also save the time of the railways and also increase the earnings. Apart from this, it will also help in delivering the essential goods on time.
Trishul filled the speed with a total of 177 wagons
Apart from 174 empty bogies, 3 guard vans were also installed in Trishul train run by South Central Railway. Let us inform that 6 electric locomotives were installed in Trishul to pull a total of 177 wagons. A total of 3 rakes of an ordinary goods train were put in Trishul. Each rake was fitted with 58 bogies and a guard van, which was towed by 2 engines. Accordingly, South Central Railway operated a 3-rake Trishul train at a time in which 174 bogies, 3 guard vans and 6 engines were installed.
Trishul had left from Kondapalli on 7 October
South Central Railway flagged off Trishul on 7 October from Kondapalli station in Vijayawada Division, whose destination was Khurda Division of East Coast Railway. Apart from this, Garuda was also dispatched from Raichur of Guntakal Division on 8 October, whose destination was Secunderabad. Let us inform that both these trains have been prepared for carrying coal, which will be able to reach the thermal power plant on time with the goods.
