PM-DHM: The purpose of this campaign is to make people aware in the health sector and connect them with the health mission. Along with this, every person of the country has to be provided better health facilities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce the launch of the Prime Minister’s Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM) on September 27, 2021. PM-DHM aims to improve the effectiveness and transparency of health services in India through technology. This will be possible with better access to healthcare data. It aims to build a national digital health infrastructure with health IDs, unique identifiers for doctors and healthcare facilities, personal health records and telemedicine and e-pharmacy.
Under this scheme, a national digital health ecosystem will be created. This would require a lot of data. This will be possible through an interoperable, standards-based digital system of confidential personal information, information and infrastructure services related to health.
Unique health card will be made
Under the Digital Health Mission, the government will make a unique health card for every person. This card will be completely digital which will be like Aadhar card in appearance. On this card you will get a number, as the number is in Aadhaar. This number will identify the person in the field of health. Through this number, the doctor will know the complete record of that person.
