Inspired by mother’s cooking
Mother liked the taste of coarse grain dishes made by her hands so much that she started a millet processing unit in the village. KV Rama Subba Reddy is known as Millet Man in Andhra Pradesh. K.V., who once worked as an accountant in Delhi. Rama Subba Reddy left his job and returned to his village Nandyal to prepare products related to millets.
Cultivation of coarse grains with brothers
Along with his parents and brothers, he started the cultivation of coarse grains in the village. After some time the processing unit was installed. Thus started the enterprise. In the initial phase, he started supplying nutritious food to the patients of Apollo Hospital. He named the company Sattva Millit & Food Products. His company made readymade food and is giving competition to many renowned companies.
27 Years of Experience in Corporate Sector
KV Rama Subba Reddy holds MBA and FCMA degrees and also has 27 years of experience in the corporate sector. He is earning a name in the field of Agri Business. He says, many years ago during his job, his trend was moving towards village and farming. After a lot of thought, in 2014 he bought 20 acres of land in Anupuru village of Nandyal district. He says, after buying the land, he returned to the office, but the thought of doing something different always remained. Started farming after returning from work in between.
He first started cultivating cereals, guava and banana through organic farming. After the year 2017, he returned to the village forever and started the cultivation of coarse grains. He inspired people to eat coarse grains and started delivering it to the market.

To promote nutritious grains, he introduced many things including biscuits, mixtures related to coarse grains. He kept his products gluten free. That’s why their products are highly preferred. Awarded ‘Best Progressive Farmer’ award to KV Rama Subba Reddy and ‘Best Startup Farmer Connect’ award from ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad for supplying MILITS products on a large scale.
He gives the credit of his success to his daughter Shweta. It is his daughter Shweta who designs most of his products. Many products are bought directly from the farmers and after processing are delivered to the customers.
