A grand festival is being organized in Ayodhya for the consecration of Ram temple. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 January. Before that today, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated many different development works in Ayodhya. He inaugurated the new railway station building and Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. After this, Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express trains were flagged off. Soon after the inauguration of the airport, an IndiGo flight took off from Delhi for Ayodhya. This also includes Pilot Command Captain Ashutosh Shekhar, who has now reached Ayodhya.

From January 6, air services to major cities of the country will now also start from Dharmanagari Airport of Ayodhya. Along with this, new flights of Air India and Indigo are starting for Ayodhya Airport from January 6. Of these, Air India aircraft will fly from Delhi at 11:00 am and reach the religious city Ayodhya at 12:20 pm. According to media reports, the first flight of Air India and Indigo from New Delhi to Ayodhya will reach Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya on December 30. After this, Indigo flights will start regularly for devotees from January 6 and Air India flights from January 16.

The fare from Ayodhya to Delhi is around Rs 3600, but during the Pran Pratishtha Utsav, the ticket price can exceed Rs 12000 till January 20. On January 21, the ticket price for only Air India flight can be around Rs 14000. The flight service from Ayodhya to Ahmedabad will start from January 11, for which the ticket price is around Rs 4500 per person, but between January 19 and January 22, the ticket price can reach up to Rs 15000.
