The company plans to extend the express service to 200 cities. Jio Mart Express is an instant grocery delivery platform. With the help of this grocery delivery will be done within 90 minutes. There will be nothing like minimum order value in this. Free delivery facility will be available on order value above Rs.199.
There are already many giants in the instant delivery business. This includes Tata-owned Big Basque, Zomato funded Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Walmart acquired Flipkart Quick and Zepto. Blinkit and Zepto are working on a 10-minute delivery business model.
Delivery from Reliance stores
According to a report published in the Economic Times, all the goods for Jio Mart Express will be delivered from the nearest Reliance Retail stores. This will also include grocery, personal care, home care products. Reliance executives said that we plan to include medicine, electronics as well. The email issued to the company in this regard did not elicit any response.
