India will be the fastest growing major economy in the world this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) said on Wednesday that the government expects the Indian economy to grow at the rate of 7.5 percent this year. Due to which it will be the fastest growing economy in the world. The Prime Minister said this at the BRICS Business Forum (BRICS)BRICS Business Forum) which he has addressed in a virtual way. In the same address, he said that the value of the Indian digital economy will reach $1 trillion by 2025. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Business Forum, the Prime Minister said that the BRICS (BRICS) was formed with the idea that this group of emerging economies will play a vital role in accelerating the growth of the world.

Talking about opportunities in the Indian economy, he said that there is an investment opportunity of USD 1.5 trillion under the country’s national infrastructure pipeline. He said that changes are taking place in every sector in the new India and technology-based change is the mainstay in the country’s economic recovery. The Prime Minister said that the government’s emphasis is on ease of doing business, building infrastructure with PM Gatishakti, digital economy and digital transformation. According to him, India is promoting drones, green energy and innovation in space. The Business Forum is taking place a day before the virtual summit of the five-nation bloc.
