Rise in the price of CNG gas.

CNG price updates: Recently, the price of natural gas was increased. After that, there was a possibility of increase in the price of PNG, CNG. Today Indraprastha Gas Limited announced an increase in the price of CNG by Rs 2.28 per kg. The increased price of CNG gas will be applicable from 13 October i.e. Wednesday.

The new price will be applicable from 6 am on October 13. After the increase in the price, the price of CNG gas in Delhi will increase to 49.76 per kg. In Noida, this price will increase to Rs 56.02 per kg. In Gurugram this price will be Rs 58.20 per kg, Rewari Rs 58.90, Kaithal Rs .57.10, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli Rs 63.28, Fatehpur and Hamirpur Rs 66.54 and Ajmer, Pali, Rajsamand it will be Rs 65.02 per kg. .

Natural gas became 62 percent more expensive

In fact, on September 30, the government has announced a huge increase of 62 percent in the price of natural gas or domestic gas. The price of natural gas has now increased to $2.90 MMBTU (Metric Million British Thermal Units) for the October-March half (October 2021 to March 2022). For the April-September 2021 half, this price was $1.79 per MMBTU.

On October 2 also, there was a jump in the price of CNG, PNG

After the increase in the price of natural gas, on October 2, CNG in Delhi became costlier by Rs 2.28 per kg and cooking gas (PNG), which reaches households through pipes, became costlier by Rs 2.10. This was the biggest hike in CNG prices since 2012. Apart from Delhi, the price of CNG gas was increased by Rs 2.55 per kg in Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. The price of PNG was increased by Rs 2.10 per cubic meter.
