Finance Minister in the budget presented today (Finance Minister) said that the trend of digital banking and digital payments has increased in recent years. The government will promote this and on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, we will start 75 digital banking units in 75 districts of the country. All these will be user friendly and common people will get direct benefit from it. Along with this, in today’s budget, the government has also announced several other steps to provide banking facilities to the people living in far flung areas of the country.
Many announcements to increase banking facilities
Along with this, the Finance Minister has also made many more announcements in the budget so that people living in far flung areas should get all the banking facilities. In this, 1.5 lakh post offices will have 100% core banking system in 2022. Vibrant Villages program announced for infrastructure development in border villages, scheduled commercial bank will be started. There will be emphasis on Ease of Doing Business 2 and Ease of Living. Along with this, the scope of Green Clearance Window will be increased. The Finance Minister said that the government is committed to Minimum Government and Maximum Governance. And all necessary steps are being taken to provide all facilities to the people.
