Airtel appeals to TRAI to price 5G spectrum, says mobile connectivity will be faster

Sekhon said spectrum prices will play an important role. If operators have to buy very expensive spectrum, their cash flow will be limited. They have to pay for that. But if the spectrum price is kept reasonable, it is possible that they use that money to expand their reach.

TRAI can take a decision on spectrum prices anytime

It is discussed that TRAI can decide on the modalities of 5G auction and spectrum prices anytime now.

Sekhon said that as soon as the 5G auction is announced, a large number of new devices will hit the market. He said that phones with 5G system will also start getting 4G prices. Right now their price is around Rs 15,000, after about a year they will start getting Rs 5,000 to 9,000.

Let us tell you that people are eagerly waiting for 5G. 5G devices are also selling fast. People have bought more than 1 crore 5G devices and on the other side is the government. The government which probably doesn’t care about all this. Worrying that brother people are getting desperate, then 5G should be launched immediately. Leave aside the launch, so far spectrum for 5G has not even been auctioned. That is, it is clear that people are spending money for such a device, there is no indication of when they will be able to make full use of it.

The auction is also ahead, so far the reserve price for the spectrum has not been decided. People are buying 5G enabled devices in a hurry. In the hope that 5G will come from the bus and they can enjoy the internet with stormy speed.
