Considering the rising prices of petrol and diesel, most people are now switching to CNG. In such a situation, car companies are also bringing new models of CNG vehicles. There are many upcoming vehicles coming in the market, which are being talked about being launched with the option of CNG. One of these is Maruti’s XL6. Which people also know as the premium model of Ertiga. This car is really premium compared to the Ertiga. On the other hand, if Maruti gives the option of CNG like Ertiga in this too, then it will prove to be a more value for money deal.
Maruti has been making CNG vehicles for a long time. At the same time, now he has also stopped making diesel vehicles. In such a situation, many CNG option vehicles are coming in Maruti’s line-up soon. There is talk of Maruti Vitara Brezza also coming in CNG avatar. Due to this, speculations are also being made about XL6. Because be it Ertiga, Brezza or XL6, all three have the same engine. If the company launches the Brezza in CNG, then it is also expected that the XL6 may also come in CNG.
While the Ertiga has to compromise on boot space after installing CNG, this is not the case with the XL6 at the moment. But when the company gives the option of CNG in it, then the boot will be available here as well. Many customers want the CNG model of this car and they are ready to compromise on the boot.
Why are people ready to compromise?
The reason for this is simple. CNG is cheap, its price is much lower than petrol and diesel. At the same time, when people will get the premium class of XL6 and that too with CNG, then this deal will definitely attract people.
Maruti can put CNG tank in XL6 as big as Ertiga. Talking about the engine, it also gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine which gives power of 103bhp. In CNG, this engine gives power of about 90bhp. Which is nowhere less than a CNG car. At present, no information has been shared by Maruti about when this car will come with CNG.
