This SUV became cheap by 3 lakhs as soon as it is launched

Volkswagen India launched its new flagship SUV Tiguan R Line in India in April 2025. The interesting thing is that within just three months of launch, some dealerships are giving a discount of up to ₹ 3 lakh on this vehicle. Not only Tiguan, but the company's India 2.0 series vehicles like Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan are also getting huge discounts in July 2025. These trains are being given a discount of up to ₹ 2.5 lakh.

This is Volkswagen's most expensive SUV in India. It has been brought as CBU in India. It comes in only one variant R Line, which has an ex-showroom price ₹ 49 lakh. But now some dealers are offering a total discount of up to ₹ 3 lakh on this. This offer includes cash discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh and other benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh, including offers like exchange bonus and service package.

Now 7-seater version will come

This SUV is not selling much in India right now, while the demand for GOLF GTI has been very good. In this segment, customers usually prefer a large 7-seater SUVs, such as the new Skoda Kodiaq, which was launched only a few days after Tiguan R Line. For this reason, Volkswagen is now considering launching the 7-seater version of Tiguan in India, whose testing has been seen in India.
