Built on a modular architecture platform, the 2021 Force Gurkha SUV is an off-road SUV. It has been specially designed for challenging terrains.
The new generation Force Gurkha SUV comes with an updated design, new interiors and modern features that add a premium result to the SUV.
The 2021 Force Gurkha continues to retain the same boxy silhouette. It is more or less similar to the pre-production variant that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.
The all-new Gurkha has been designed and developed on the ground up, modular architecture platform. This is an off-road SUV.
The SUV gets new bumpers, fog lights, a new snorkel, a redesigned ‘shark gill’ on the fenders, a larger rear windshield, redesigned ORVMs, new black plastic cladding, rear-door mounted spare wheel and LED taillights .
It gets several elements specially designed for challenging terrains. Up front, the SUV now gets Gorkha branding on the single-slat grille instead of the F-logo, which gives it a different look.
It also comes with LED Pro Edge headlamps with integrated DRLs and fender-mounted LED indicators.
The new Force Gurkha measures 4116 mm in length, 1812 mm in width, 2075 mm in height, while the wheelbase is 2400 mm. It will be available in five colors – Red, Orange, Green, Gray and White.
The all-new Force Gurkha is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.6-litre diesel engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz.
The motor is tuned to generate 91 bhp power at 3,200 rpm and 250 Nm of peak torque between 1400-2400 rpm.
Transmission options include a 5-speed Mercedes G-28 manual gearbox with 4X4 as standard.
