Komaki currently offers four electric bikes but is placing its biggest bet on the upcoming electric cruiser.

In a statement issued, the company has focused on affordability and accessibility as the two pillars on which the electric bike cruiser will be based. Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, “This is something we have been working on for a long time. Our ultimate aim is to meet the needs of each and every customer segment. Now that we have established a strong foothold in the utility segment, we aim to meet the demands of the customers in this segment. Electric technology can get more boost

Komaki is well poised to take advantage of the arrival of electric mobility in India, which is being operated by the two wheeler segment. Many settled as well as new competitors are in the fray to grab the attention of all and with many states announcing subsidy for such products, the already surging demand may increase further in the new year. Governments are also focusing on improving charging infrastructure, which can boost customer confidence in trying out electric technology.
