Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal has said that the company’s electric scooter factory will be completely run by women and will provide employment to more than 10,000 women on a large scale.
She wrote on Twitter, ‘Self-reliant India needs self-reliant women! I am proud to share that the entire operation of Ola FutureFactory will be done by women, with over 10,000 women working on a large scale. This will be the largest factory in the world with only women workers. Agarwal also shared a video, which shows the first batch of women employed to work in this factory.

Ola recently launched its two electric scooters Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. People are eagerly waiting for both these scooters. The ex-showroom price of Ola S1 has been kept at Rs 99,999. At the same time, the price of Ola S1 Pro is Rs 1,29,999 lakh.
Bhavish Aggarwal wrote in a blog post that the company welcomed the first batch this week and said that “at full capacity, FutureFactory will employ over 10,000 women, making it the largest in the world with only women workers and globally.” Will be the only automotive manufacturing establishment with only women workers. He said Ola is taking initiatives to create a more inclusive workforce and provide all kinds of work-related economic opportunities for women.
Agarwal said the company has made significant investments in training and providing additional skills to women workers in core areas of manufacturing skills and they will be responsible for the entire production of each vehicle manufactured at Ola Futurefactory.
