Mahindra has achieved the booking figure of 50,000 units of XUV700.
Mahindra & Mahindra is offering a total loyalty bonus of Rs 25,000 to the existing customers of its vehicles on the purchase of the newly launched XUV700. Available in five and seven seater configurations, the midsize SUV has created quite a stir in the domestic market with two batches of 25,000 units already sold in India.
The domestic manufacturer started booking the XUV700 on October 7, 2021 at Authorize dealerships and online and within an hour, the first batch of Mahindra XUV700 with a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India) for the petrol manual trim Reserved. Prices were hiked for the second batch which was sold out within two hours yesterday and due to heavy demand bookings were stopped for the next half an hour and the prices went up to Rs.
Overall, Mahindra has achieved the booking figure of 50,000 units of the XUV700. Mahindra also introduced two top-spec luxury trims after the official announcement of the prices a few days back.
Mahindra XUV700 Engine
The Mahindra XUV700 is retailed in MX, AX3, AX5 and AX7 trims and draws power from a 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel and a 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit. The first produces 185 PS of maximum power output and 420 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. When paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the torque increases to 450 Nm.
In the base Mahindra XUV700 MX grade, the same oil-burner mill pumps out 155 PS and 360 Nm. The gasoline unit, on the other hand, makes 200 PS of maximum power and 380 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. All-wheel-drive system has been given in the top-spec variant.

The packed features list includes twin-screen layout (10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster), 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery, smart door handles, LED headlights, LED sequential turn indicator, ADAS based active security and driver assist technology and panoramic sunroof.
