The price of Nissan Magnite has been increased.
Nissan India has announced a price hike for its popular Magnite compact SUV. This is the second hike on the prices of Magnet since it was introduced in the Indian market in December 2020. Apart from the price hike, no other changes have been made on the SUV. The new price hike will be applicable from October 2021. The price hike may be different for different variants of the Magnite SUV.
The price hike of Magnet on its aspirated variant ranges between Rs.6,000 to Rs.17,000. On the other hand, the SUV’s top-spec XV Premium and XV Premium Dual Tone have received a maximum price hike of Rs 17,000. While the 1.0-litre NA petrol engine is available in four trims – XE, XL, XV and XV Premium, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill is available in three variants – XL Turbo, XV Turbo, and XV Premium Turbo with both manual and CVT. Available in gearbox.
Nissan India has increased the price of its lower variants by Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,000, while the higher-spec trims have become costlier by up to Rs 15,000.
Nissan achieved tremendous sales in the month of September
Nissan recently registered a figure of 2,816 units in domestic wholesale in the month of September. This includes both Nissan and Datsun range vehicles. A big credit for this once again goes to the Magnite SUV which has received over 65,000 bookings so far. The Nissan Magnite was first launched in late 2020 and continues to be the most exclusive product in the company’s overall portfolio.
Nissan launches virtual sales advisor initiative
Meanwhile, Nissan India recently announced the launch of its new Virtual Sales Advisor initiative for potential Magnite customers. With the new initiative, the company aims to help customers buy an end-to-end car through real-time interactions with the sales officers of the carmaker.
Nissan continues to keep Magnite as the central focus, claiming that it is also working on expanding its cell and post-sale network in the country. Earlier last month, it launched the industry’s first innovative virtual sales advisor for Magnetite customers to enhance the K-buying experience. However, the road ahead for Magnite is likely to be full of challenges as many new options are attracting attention in its segment. Apart from this, there are other competitors which have either been launched recently or are ready for launch in the festive season.
