RTO officials said that the company has opted for ‘Tuscan Sun’ color option for the 12-cylinder car that weighs more than 2.5 tonnes and generates 564 bhp power. A special number plate has been prepared for the car. The registration of this new car of Ambani is valid till January 30, 2037. Along with this, RIL has also deposited Rs 20 lakh as one time tax. And a separate payment of Rs 40,000 has also been made for road safety.
According to the RTO official, it could also be the most expensive car bought in India. RIL has also paid Rs 12 lakh to get a VIP number for the new car of its chairman and managing director. Whose number ends on “0001”. Usually a VIP number costs Rs 4 lakh, but in the current series the chosen number was already taken, so a new series has been started.
