    Maruti Vitara Brezza continues to be a very strong player in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. But with the bigger 1.5-litre petrol engine, the crossover doesn't get much excise duty benefits like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. This means that there are still some new launches left for Maruti Suzuki in this segment. The company is planning to cover its upcoming Baleno-based crossover with the codename YTB.

    To be built at the Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG) plant, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese parent company, the Maruti YTB will share its platform, engine, gearbox and many other components with the popularly successful Baleno hatchback.
