Mahindra XUV300 is already available in ICE variant and now the electric unit will make it ready to compete with Mahindra’s sustainable mobility business with MG and Tata Motors.
Mahindra has confirmed an electric powertrain for the XUV300 SUV. According to the information, the new electric SUV will be officially launched in the first quarter of the next financial year. This was disclosed by Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Mahindra at a press event today. Mahindra has recently tied up with Volkswagen Group to work on a modular electric drive matrix. The company aims to compete with Tata Motors, which already has the Nexon and Tigor EVs in the sub-four meter EV category.
