Kia Sonet First Anniversary Edition
Kia India on Thursday announced the launch of the first anniversary edition of the Kia Sonnet. The new special edition model commemorates the first success year of compact SUVs in India. The Anniversary Edition of the Kia Sonnet is offered in four exterior colors – Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver and Gravity Grey.
Its price has been kept at Rs 10,79,000 (ex-showroom, pan India). The new anniversary edition Kia Sonnet comes with a special tiger-nose grille with hot-stamped tangerine accents. Apart from this, the car also comes with auroch side skid plates for bolder and butch appeal. Kia has also added side door garnish and center wheel cap to the tangerine accent and Anniversary Edition emblem.
The Special Edition of the Sonnet SUV comes with a 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine with four powertrain options Smartstream 6iMT and 7DCT and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine with 6MT (in WGT configuration) and 6AT (in VGT configuration).

Crosses 1 lakh units sales mark in less than a year
Kia India has officially announced that the Sonet subcompact SUV has crossed the 1 lakh unit sales mark. Launched in September 2020, the SUV garnered a lot of attention due to its price tag and the features it offers. The SUV has achieved this milestone in less than a year of its launch. The South Korean automaker says that the Sonet became the fourth best-selling SUV in the country during the same period. Made-in-India SUVs contribute about 32 percent of the total sales of Kia India and about 17 percent of the segment.
