In some cases it was seen that the bike was not starting again after the engine stopped. However, there was no problem of performance or stalling while walking.
Royal Enfield took this problem seriously and started investigating it. By stopping the sale, the company made technical reforms and now confirmed that all problems have been overcome.
Re -sale started
Now Scram 440 is once again available for sale in India. However, its availability has been limited initially. The company says that it will gradually increase production, so that delivery can be done on time according to the demand.

This bike provides an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 443cc, which generates power of 25.3 bhp and torque of 34 Nm. It also has a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, which improves gear shifting and riding experience before. Its long stroke engine retains the signature smoothness of Royal Enfield.
