The Gulteri which was targeted by the Indian Air Force pilot, the then Army Chief of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf and the then PM Nawaz Sharif were also present at the time of the attack.
Former dictator of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has passed away. He has got a very bad death. He was suffering from a disease (amyloidosis), due to which many parts of his body stopped working. Musharraf lay on the bed for a long time and then could not even get up. Kargil War’s villain Pervez Musharraf would have had a worse death and that too 23 years ago!
This nefarious dictator of Pakistan had written the script of Kargil war. Immediately after the Agra summit, he conspired to backstab India. It was Musharraf who had made the nefarious plan to wage war secretly. However, in the same Kargil war, his work would have been over! That time could have proved to be the last time of his life, if the fighter plane of the Indian Air Force did not miss the target!
Only then all the work gets done!
During the Kargil war, Pakistan’s then Army Chief Pervez Musharraf and then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif could have become the target of Indian Air Force fighter aircraft bombing. The Kargil war was at its peak then. Quoting Indian Air Force sources, an English newspaper had published a report about this. According to the report, on 24 June 1999, a Jaguar fighter jet of the Indian Air Force was flying over the LoC.
The responsibility of this fighter jet was to set targets for bombing of Pak Army bases with laser guided system. At the same time, the second Jaguar coming behind this aircraft was to bomb that target. The pilot of the fighter jet had targeted the Pak Army base in Gulteri near the LoC, but could not bomb the right target. The bomb fell out of the laser basket.
Pak media also accepted
The Gulteri which was targeted by the Indian Air Force pilot, the then Army Chief of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf and the then PM Nawaz Sharif were also present at the time of the attack. This was confirmed later. However, till the time the Jaguar targeted, the pilot was not even aware that Pervez Musharraf and Nawaz Sharif were present in Gultari.
However, the spokesperson of the Indian Air Force later refused to comment on the issue related to it. Retired Air Marshal AK Singh, who was a senior officer in the Left Command at that time, had said that he was also in the plane when two Jaguars went for operations. He told not to fire.
Pakistani media had published the news on 25 June 1999 that Nawaz Sharif was then in Gultari, where while addressing Pak soldiers, he appealed for talks with India to end the war-like situation on the LoC.
Musharraf repeatedly opened his mouth
Pervez Musharraf was also involved in the 1965 and 1971 wars between India and Pakistan. Pakistan was badly defeated in both the battles. The fire against India kept burning in Musharraf, the loser, and inside he kept looking for an opportunity. After all, he started the Kargil war in 1999. It is said that by deceiving the Nawaz Sharif government, he made a war strategy. However, once again the Pak army could not stand in front of the bravery of the Indian Army and Pakistan got a crushing defeat.
