After two years of slowing gross sales amid a slew of challenges triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic and muted spending, festive cheer is again amongst car sellers throughout Gujarat.
After the Navratri-Dussehra season, the Diwali festivities have additionally spelled excellent news for vehicle sellers. Estimates from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), Gujarat, recommend that car gross sales have grown by 25% throughout the festive season.

“Sentiment has improved significantly in the two-wheeler market driven by rural demand. People are opting for full payments and finance options for two-wheeler purchases. Mainly student and rural buyers are driving sales,” mentioned Pranav Shah, former Gujarat area chairman of the FADA.
Demand for automobiles can be good, with the semiconductor scarcity easing, sellers say. Despite hefty reductions on entry-level fashions, gross sales are muted within the entry-level section. “Demand for SUVs is significantly better.
