Television actress Tanya Sharma, who is known for the popular soap opera – Sasural Simar Ka 2, has recently become the owner of a new Kia Seltos. The actress has posted a set of pictures of herself taking delivery of her new prized car with her family on social media. The new Seltos holds a lot of significance for Tanya Sharma, as it is the first car to be bought by the actress.
In her social media post, the actress said – “First things are very special. I am grateful to God for this day.” According to the vehicle portal of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Tanya Sharma has not disclosed the details about her new Kia Seltos, the model in the pictures is the high-spec GTX Plus petrol variant.
The model is powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDI 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that is tuned to make 138 bhp power at 6000 rpm and generates 242 Nm of peak torque at 1,500-3,200 rpm. Apart from this, it comes with the much-loved 7-speed DCT or dual clutch transmission.
The variant purchased by Tanya Sharma is currently priced at Rs 17.54 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, in Mumbai, the on-road price of the compact SUV after tax will be around Rs 21 lakh. Currently, the Seltos range is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The IMT variant of the 2021 Seltos gets a sunroof, a fully automatic air conditioner with beige and black interiors and silver garnishes to give a luxurious look to the interiors. For safety, the company has decided to extend the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC) features to the lower variants.
