Bajaj will soon introduce its electric scooter in the Indian two wheeler market, which is indicated by the recently surfaced photos. In media reports, the new electric scooter was spotted with Bajaj Chetak Electric during testing in Pune. At present, limited information is available about this electric scooter, although it looks quite different from the Bajaj Chetak Electric. Let us tell you that Ola Electric Scooter and TVS Electric Scooter will present a tough challenge for this electric scooter of Bajaj. Let us know in detail about this scooter of Bajaj.

First let’s talk about the leaked pictures. The rear panel and left side of the scooter can be seen in the leaked pictures. It gets split style saddle, differently designed grab handle, new tire hugger and swingarm section. Apart from this, the parts like rear suspension, rear fenders and tail section are completely different as compared to the Chetak electric scooter. The hub-mounted motor is clearly visible in the pictures, confirming that it will be an electric scooter.

The new electric scooter could be more premium. It could knock with more range and a more powerful motor than electric scooters like TVS iQube and Ola S1, though no official information has been given yet. The Bajaj Chetak Electric uses a non-removable 3kWh IP67 lithium-ion battery pack and a 3.8kW motor. It will be able to give a range of 95 km in Eco mode.

According to a report by Car & Bike, the scooter looks quite similar to the Husqvarna Vektorr that was spotted earlier this year. The Husqvarna is part of the KTM Group, which works closely with Bajaj in India. It has a 4KW electric motor. Also, the top speed of the scooter is 45 kmph and it gives a range of 95 km on a single charge.

This electric scooter from Bajaj can be launched as a competition to Ola S1. Its price will be less than one lakh rupees. Bajaj’s upcoming electric scooter look and design will look quite attractive. It is expected that it can knock it in the Indian market early next year.
