Everyone is shocked to see this video of Mahindra Bolero
Known for its strong performance on rough roads, the Mahindra Bolero SUV has once again shown its mettle in a video shared on the social media platform. In the water as high as the bonnet, this SUV has also impressed Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra. The video shows a Mahindra Bolero SUV driving through flooded roads in Rajkot, Gujarat. The white Bolero was seen passing through the water where no other cars were visible on the road.

The Bolero has been one of the consistent performers for Mahindra over the years, and has been its best-selling model for quite some time now. Even when trends suggest people to look for more features in their SUV, the Bolero remains a favorite among many, especially in smaller cities and towns across India.

Mahindra recently launched the Bolero Neo SUV, which is basically the facelifted version of the TUV300, and is claimed to offer the same dependable drive capability that the Bolero is known for. However, the Bolero Neo certainly won’t be the new-age Bolero as the carmaker plans to revamp the SUV and bring in a new generation model in the next few years.
what’s special in the car
The Mahindra Bolero is powered by a 1.5-litre BS6 compliant mHawk75 diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It can generate maximum power of 75 bhp and peak torque of 210 Nm. Though the SUV doesn’t come with a dedicated off-road mode, it is still quite capable of handling rough roads with ease, thanks to its real wheel drive setup.
The Mahindra Bolero SUV is available in India in two trims, which include a BS6 1.5-litre diesel manual and a BS6 option with the same powertrain. The price of BS6 Bolero SUV starts from Rs. 9.39 Lakh (Ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs. 9.63 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
