0-star Baleno will again have crash test, Bharat NCAP will give rating
Maruti Suzuki cars are going to go for Bharat NCAP crash test. In the first batch, the company will send Baleno, Brezza and Grand Vitara for safety test. Maruti cars are ridiculed a lot on social media in terms of durability, there have been many road accident cases in which Maruti vehicles have performed very poorly. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how well these three cars of Maruti fare on the scale of Indian safety.
Let us tell you that in the year 2021, Maruti Suzuki Baleno got 0-star safety rating in the Latin NCAP crash test. The standard variant of the tested model comes with two airbags. However, this model was not sent for Global NCAP testing.

Now the second generation model (2022) of this SUV has arrived. Whereas Maruti Grand Vitara has not been sent for any car safety test yet. Tata first sent cars for testing
Tata Motors is the first company to send its cars for Bharat NCAP crash test. Meanwhile, Harrier and Safari achieved 5-star rating in December 2023. Both these SUVs have scored 30.08 out of 32 in adult safety and 44.54 out of 49 points in child protection.

Hyundai will also send cars for crash test
Hyundai Motor India will first send Tucson to India for NCAP crash test. After this Hyundai Exeter will be sent for safety test. In the years 2021 and 2022, the new generation Hyundai Tucson was sent for Euro NCAP and Latin NCAP crash tests. Then it had achieved 5-star and 3-star ratings.
