The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi has started. Preparations start long in advance for this 10-day long festival. During this, many types of dishes are made so that Bappa is offered bhog.
Ganesh Chaturthi has begun and now is the time to treat Bappa with some of his favorite delicacies. According to Hindu mythology, it was difficult to satisfy Bappa’s hunger, so devotees have offered him some of his favorite food to pacify and appease his hunger. Let’s make the festive feast more exciting on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi by adding a fusion twist to the classic dishes. Here are some fusion delights that you can prepare and offer as bhog to Bappa.
1. Berry Kheer
Give a charming touch to your love for desi kheer by adding jamuns. To make this kheer in a hurry, just boil a little milk and sugar, when the milk is reduced to half, add some fresh cream and dried berries. Refrigerate the kheer and garnish with fresh jamuns.
2. Gulab Shrikhand
To make this delicious Gulab Shrikhand, filter the curd water with a muslin cloth, keep the curd in the fridge for overnight. Lastly, take curd and make a creamy mixture by adding powdered sugar, rose syrup, rose essence and rose petals to it. Serve chilled.
3. Cranberry Balls
Call it cranberry balls or cranberry laddus, you can make this dessert for a delicious indulgence recipe. Knead a thick dough by adding a little grated coconut, dried cranberries, oats and condensed milk and roll the laddoos and enjoy.
4. Paan Modak
To make this instant modak recipe, simply make a mixture of betel leaves with some grated coconut, condensed milk, gulkand and dried rose petals. Just cook this mixture for 3-4 minutes. When the mixture reaches room temperature, pour it in a modak mold and keep the modak to cool down. After that serve it as prasad.
5. Fig Basundi
To make this instant fig basundi recipe, just boil the milk. When the milk becomes thick and add cardamom powder to the soaked figs, dry fruits and dry fruits puree, cook till it becomes thick and creamy. Serve as bhog and enjoy.
